FORT MILL – As the parade of Democratic candidates to South Carolina, which will hold the region’s first 2020 presidential primary, continued this past weekend, one fielded a question from a Fort Mill resident who won’t be old enough to vote in the next election. Or the one in 2024, for that matter.
He answered anyway.
U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colorado) made his second campaign stop in the state Saturday, this time at a private residence in Fort Mill. The meet and greet was open to the public and press and drew about 40 people, Bennet’s campaign said.
At one point, while taking questions, Bennet was asked by a child how he would he “would make sure everyone is included.” Watch the video above to see and hear how he answered.
