Tonight, there’s a Fort Mill Town Council meeting. The agenda includes a proposed annexation of more than 50 acres on Whites road into town limits and the proposed financing of up to $35 million for sewer upgrades. Also:

  • Chats With Charlie: Meet with Tega Cay City Manager Charlies Funderburk 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Tega Cay Deli.
  • Audition for the Fort Mill Playhouse upcoming production “Things My Mother Taught Me,” 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Playhouse, 220 Main Street. Also at the Playhouse this week is “Snapshots: A Musical Scrapbook” Feb. 15-24. For more, go to or call 803-548-8102.
  • S.C. Compassionate Care Act: Indian Land Republican Women are hosting an event 7-8 p.m. Feb. 14 at Hickory Tavern to educate the public and urge residents to lobby their state legislators in favor of the bill. All are welcome. The group says it also will lives stream the event on its Facebook page.
  • Chocolate Olympics: Compete in chocolate games and win chocolate prizes 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Fort Mill Library in Baxter. For ages 6-8. Registration required. For more, call 803-547-4114.
